Terms and conditions of deposit
Article 1
These general conditions are to:
Define the terms and rules for submission of articles (as defined in section 3 below) from the seller.
To govern the contractual relationship between customers and the seller.
The seller reserves the right to change at any time these terms and conditions of deposit.
Article 2
Anyone who can prove identity and who is major and legally capable of contracting under Swiss law, may file articles.
The seller will make every effort to control the quality and the authenticity of the articles and brands offered, without constituting an obligation of result.
www.dressingbook.ch thanks its visitors to report any anomaly, defect or error of articles and contents featured on the site that may have escaped the seller's attention so that it can be verified and corrected if necessary as soon as possible.
Article 3
The seller deposits on its website clothing, footwear and accessories of high quality brands for children (from 0 to 14 years) and women, hereinafter referred to as "articles".
Articles submitted must be in very good condition. Clothing should be washed and ironed before deposition.
Applicants should have taken care to verify :
• The absence of stain;
• The absence of defects rendering the article useless in whole or part;
• The perfect condition and functioning of seams, buttons, snaps, zippers, laces and other trimmings;
• The perfect state of matter (not washed out, worn out, faded or torn or modified);
The seller reserves the right to refuse articles which do not meet the criteria above.
Article 4
4.1. We offer four different modes of filing:
• The deposit by appointment:
The applicant makes an appointment by e-mail ( [email protected] ) or by phone ( 41 76 332 87 67) for depositing in the seller's premises (Dressingbook, 18 avenue de la Gare - 1180 Rolle - Switzerland) articles which she/he wishes to sell. After selecting the items for being sold on its site, the seller shall issue the applicant a receipt for the submission of articles (contract).
• Pick-up service:
By appointment the seller comes to your place (50km around Rolle). The travel costs will be calculated based on the distance (30 CHF and 100 CHF).
• VIP service (helping to sort out your wardrobes on location):
We also offer a VIP service that includes the travel to your place and our personal service of helping you sorting out your wardrobe (costs: 50 CHF plus travel expenses).
• The deposit by mail:
The applicant sends an e-mail to the following address: [email protected], in which she/he accurately describes the items desired to deposit. We recommend to join the descriptions photos of the articles.
Upon reception of the e-mail, the seller makes a first selection based on the descriptions and photos and informs the applicant of the selected articles.
The applicant can then send the selected items by mail.
Upon reception the seller makes a second selection and reserves the right not to accept the pre-selected items which do not correspond to the description and / or photos and / or criteria.
Items that are not accepted are:
- returned to the applicant (at her/his expenses);
- donated to humanitarian organizations of your choice.
Items retained by the seller to be sold on the site are subject to a detailed contract of deposit sent to the applicant by e-mail or mail within a week.
The selling price, excluding shipping costs, shall be divided into 50% for the applicant and 50% for the seller. In exceptional cases of high-end products (like bags,...) the applicant will receive 60% of the selling price.
Dressingbook is charging an administration fee of CHF 1.- per item (for babies and kids) and CHF 3.- per women's article (corresponding to the work expended on the photo shooting, picture editing and online set-up).
The amount will be deducted from the sale of your articles.The price can be modified of more or less 10 % or 20 % (without informing the customer) in case of special sales.

4.4. Beginning and ending of the contract:
The normal duration of deposit lasts for one season (approximatively 6 months).
Dressingbook accepts articles for the spring / summer season from mid-january and for the fall / winterseason from mid-august.
From mid-december Dressingbook reduces the articles of the fall /winter season (30%-50%). The same applies from mid-june to the articles of the spring / summer season.
Certain high end products (as handbags and luxurous accessories) may stay on sale without any price reduction.
The applicant can inquire about the status of sale of his articles by visiting the website (Member Area).
Payment for items sold will be proceeded by the end of each month by bank transfer or cash.
Applicants wishing to receive payment by bank transfer, should note their bank details on the deposit contract.
If the client wishes to be paid in cash, the payment will be on appointment at the seller 's place (Dressingbook, 18 avenue de la Gare - 1180 Rolle - Switzerland).
Article 5
All information provided by customers will only be used to process purchase orders, to facilitate navigation on www.dressingbook.ch as well as to provide information by e-mail about new products and special offers and news related to the site. The seller guarantees that the information provided by the customer will not be disclosed to any third party.
Article 6
These terms and conditions of deposit are subject to Swiss law. All sales operations will be considered as having been performed at the address of the seller. In case of dispute between the parties, the latter will be submitted to the competent court (Tribunal of Nyon).
Article 7
The customer agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of deposit, in particular with the following clauses:
- The submitted articles are not fake
- Provision of proof of purchase if requested by Dressingbook
- The mailed items mailed do not originate from theft or fraud.
